MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY COORDINATION

Great Nature Wisconsin has many years of experience coordinating management activities.

When is the best time to tackle management concerns such as removal of common buckthorn, garlic mustard, or purple loosestrife? When is the best time to conduct a prescribed burn to achieve your management goals? What are the most effective methods for controlling invasive plants?  How are decisions made when there are mulitiple management needs, limited time, and finite resources?

GNW has the experience to help. Our ecologist possesses many years of experience coordinating management activities on dozens of sites concurrently with limited resouces. Many restorations fail because the manager tackles the scenic aspects, works on less aggressive invasive species, or avoids the areas of highest native quality. GNW will develop with the land owner, the most crucial activities needed, while staying within a budget.
